Ecovay Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ecovay! By engaging with our services, programs, or platforms, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities when participating in any Ecovay initiative.
BECOME A PARTNER

General Participation

1.1 Participation in Ecovay programs, workshops, conferences, or events is open to eligible individuals who meet the specified criteria for each activity.
1.2 All participants are expected to adhere to the guidelines, schedules, and instructions provided by the Ecovay team during the course of any program or event.
1.3 Ecovay reserves the right to deny or revoke participation if a participant violates these terms or engages in any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful.

Code of Conduct

2.1 Participants must maintain respect and professionalism towards peers, facilitators, and staff at all times.
2.2 Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
2.3 Any damage to property or disruption during Ecovay programs will result in immediate dismissal without a refund or recourse.

Fees and Payments

3.1 For paid programs, participants must ensure timely payment of fees to confirm their registration.
3.2 Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund eligibility are program-specific and will be communicated prior to registration.
3.3 Ecovay is not responsible for additional expenses, such as travel, unless explicitly stated in the program details.

Intellectual Property

4.1 All content, materials, and resources provided by Ecovay during programs are the intellectual property of Ecovay and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.
4.2 Participants may use materials for personal and educational purposes only, and proper credit must be given when referencing Ecovay resources.

Media Consent

5.1 By participating in Ecovay activities, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional, archival, or educational purposes.
5.2 If you do not wish to be included in media content, you must notify Ecovay in writing prior to the start of the program.

Privacy and Data Use

6.1 Ecovay is committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected will be used solely for program administration and communication purposes.
6.2 Ecovay will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Liability

7.1 Ecovay is not liable for any personal injuries, losses, or damages incurred during participation in its programs.
7.2 Participants are responsible for their own safety, travel arrangements, and personal belongings during Ecovay activities.

Program Modifications

8.1 Ecovay reserves the right to modify or cancel programs, schedules, or events due to unforeseen circumstances.
8.2 Participants will be notified promptly of any changes, and alternative arrangements or refunds (in the form of vouchers) will be provided.

Dispute Resolution

9.1 Any disputes arising from participation in Ecovay activities shall be resolved amicably through mutual discussion.
9.2 If necessary, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

Refund Policy

At Ecovay, we strive to ensure a transparent and fair process for all participants. Below are the details of our refund policy for both Fully Funded and Self-Funded applicants:
10.1 Fully Funded Applicants
  • The registration fee of $17 is a one-time, non-refundable fee.
  • This fee covers the administrative costs of processing applications and is not eligible for refund under any circumstances.
10.2 Self-Funded Applicants
  • Refunds for participants in the Self-Funded category will require 15 days to process.
  • Refunds will not be provided in cash; instead, participants will receive vouchers equivalent to the amount paid.
  • These vouchers can be utilized for future Ecovay conferences or events.

Governing Law

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which Ecovay is registered.
By participating in Ecovay programs and activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. For any questions or clarifications, please contact us at info@ecovay.org

Geographic service restrictions

12.1 In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other relevant regulatory authorities, we do not provide services to individuals, entities, or organizations located in or ordinarily resident in the following countries and regions:

  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Crimea Region
  • Donetsk Region
  • Luhansk Region

This restriction applies regardless of where our services are accessed and extends to any individual or entity acting on behalf of, or for the benefit of, persons in the above-listed territories.

By using our services, you confirm that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of any person or entity in a restricted territory. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access if we determine, at our sole discretion, that these conditions are not met.
